What have I done?

My interval run today totaled 6.5 miles, and I thought I totaled around 5.75 or so. Today was less than half a mile shorter than my long run from this past weekend. I feel great. I think I’ll run trails tomorrow.

Also, this month I’m on pace to spend more time running than playing hockey.

Dustin, I enjoyed the post and you have a great and really inspirational blog. The biggest congratulations go to what you have achieved in not just hockey and running, but in life since you became drug-free.

If you get a chance, please visit my running web site, Faithful Soles. I have a categorized and searchable Running Blog Database on there and would appreciate it if you would link your blog to it. Also, if you ever would like to write a story (or perhaps you already have) about how you beat the drug habit and what running has meant to you, I would love to feature it on the site. We have lots of youth in our PR10K (Promote Running for 10,000 Kids) program who need to read about people like you. Thanks for being such a great example.

Wow, thanks. Not something I imagined I was doing, but I'll take the compliment.
